What ArcRoute does
ArcRoute is a motorcycle navigation and route planning app for iPhone. Nine features, each on its own page: how it works, what to expect, and the questions riders ask. Plan the ride, ride it, remember it.
Plan it
A route with the bends you want, a loop from where you stand or from home, a stop on the way, or a track you brought along.
- Twisty routing
Ride the curves, not the traffic
Slide from Direct to Wild and the route bends toward the twisties between you and there. Motorways off with one tap.
How it works - Round trips
Ride out. Ride back.
Pick a distance and a direction. You get a loop that ends where it started, a Sunday out without planning one.
How it works - Stops on the map
Stop for coffee. Keep the route.
Gas, coffee and ice cream on the map, opening hours included. Tap a stop and it drops into the ride; the bends stay where they were.
How it works - GPX import
Bring your own route
Import a GPX from Mapy.com, Komoot or a GPS unit and ride it with spoken turns.
How it works
Ride it
Turns you read at a glance or hear in your helmet, and closures routed around before you reach them.
- Navigation
Eyes on the road, not the screen
Banners you can read from the bars, distance to the turn, and a quiet reroute when you miss one. Nothing to dismiss with a glove.
How it works - Voice guidance
Turns spoken into your helmet
English or Czech, screen locked, phone in your pocket. Music dips for a prompt and comes back.
How it works - Closures
Around the closed road
Official Czech closures on the map as barrier tape, and a route that steers around them on its own.
How it works
Remember it
Every ride recorded in your pocket, and a map of every road you have ridden.
- Ride recording
Ride it again
Every ride records in the background, phone in your pocket. Save the good ones, replay them, ride them again next spring.
How it works - Personal heatmap
Watch your map come alive
Every road you ride glows a little brighter. After a season you can see where you have been, and where you have not.
